Shoreham By Sea Climbing Wall.

Shoreham Wall UKCrags(c)2003A small but much needed climbing wall near Brighton. Opened on the 2nd of August 2003 after a delay caused by construction problems. The Adur Outdoor Activities Centre is situated on the banks of the River Adur just a few yards west of the bridge on the Brighton Road (A259) Map. The wall is approx 80Sq M and is 10M high with a good sized changing area. The entrance fees are modest ranging from £2-Shoreham Wall UKCrags(c)200375 to £4-50 for non members. From the outside the wall looks very small but this hides a cleverly designed sunken floorShoreham Wall UKCrags(c)2003 which give extra height. There is leading bolts and top ropes and even a bouldering circuit but this gets a bit difficult on crowded nights. There is a good selection of routes including a good overhanging corner and face wall Shoreham Wall UKCrags(c)2003which should pump out all but a few weekend climbers.   Adur Link.

Conclusion:- Small but friendly, great for locals and lunch time workouts. Shoreham Wall UKCrags(c)2003
